A Project is an AI work environment or harness for a specific app, feature, product, client, or development workflow. It keeps context and task prompts together so you can prepare safer, more repeatable AI sessions.
Project Brief
Use the Project Brief to describe:
- Context and background
- Goals
- Constraints
- Completion criteria
- Technical assumptions
- Anything an AI tool should avoid
The Project Brief is useful when you copy a Prompt Card because it gives the task a stable environment.
Suggested use
- Create one project for each app, feature, or workflow.
- Keep the project name short and easy to scan.
- Put long-lived context in the Project Brief instead of repeating it in every prompt.
- Use Archive for projects that are finished but still worth keeping.
- Use Trash for work you intend to remove from the active workspace.
When to create another project
Create another project when the context, constraints, target platform, or success criteria are different enough that prompts should not share the same brief.
