Sanometra U.S. Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice

Effective: August 15, 2026
Last updated: September 17, 2026

This notice supplements the Sanometra Privacy Policy for consumers covered by U.S. state consumer-health privacy laws, including the Washington My Health My Data Act where applicable. It is not a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, and Aleatrick does not represent that Sanometra is a HIPAA-covered service.

1. Consumer health data categories

Sanometra may process the following information on your device when you choose to enter or import it:

Aleatrick does not receive these health-data categories from the app in the current release.

2. Sources

The sources are you, files or images you deliberately select, and public product information you choose to retrieve. Information may be entered manually, mapped from a selected CSV file, proposed by on-device OCR from an image or PDF page you select, or restored from a backup you select. Product-label originals, edited text, and applied translations are retained locally when you confirm saving a supplement. Sanometra does not obtain health records from healthcare providers, data brokers, advertisers, HealthKit, or Aleatrick servers.

For a product lookup you start, candidates may come from the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database, Open Food Facts, the on-device product catalog, or UPCitemdb after the other sources have no candidate. The original product candidate you select, its source, retrieval date, and attribution are kept locally, separately from your edits, when you confirm saving.

3. Purposes and use

Consumer health data is processed on device to provide the functions you request: recordkeeping, inventory and cost calculations, timing organization, charts, reference-range displays, reports, export, backup, and deletion. It is not used for advertising, marketing, eligibility decisions, insurance, employment, credit, or sale.

Sanometra does not make medical decisions. Timing and measurement displays are organizational aids based on your entries and do not diagnose, treat, or prove a supplement effect.

4. Sharing and third parties

Aleatrick does not share consumer health data with third parties or affiliates in the current release. For purchases, RevenueCat and Apple receive purchase and subscription metadata; those purchase requests do not include supplement records, intake or effect notes, routines, laboratory values, selected files, images, reports, or backups.

When you direct iOS to share or save a report or backup, the file is passed to the destination you choose. That destination is not selected by Aleatrick and its privacy practices apply.

Device backups are a separate operation managed through Apple's backup features. Depending on your iOS and computer backup settings, locally stored app data may be included in an iCloud or computer backup. Sanometra does not provide automatic iCloud or CloudKit synchronization.

When you explicitly start a product lookup, the public product identifier (GTIN) is sent to NIH and Open Food Facts, and to UPCitemdb if those sources and the on-device catalog have no candidate. These services also receive connection information such as your IP address. The requests do not include your saved supplement records, intake or effect notes, routines, laboratory values, or images. See section 4.1 of the Sanometra Privacy Policy for the receiving services and their privacy notices.

If you explicitly translate product-label text using the system translation interface on iOS17.4 through iOS17.x, the selected text may be sent to Apple for processing depending on downloaded languages. This operation does not automatically submit your stored health-check records. See the translation section of the Sanometra Privacy Policy and Apple’s Translation & Privacy notice for that separate operation.

5. Sale

Aleatrick does not sell consumer health data. Because there is no sale, Sanometra does not request an authorization to sell it.

6. Geofencing

Sanometra does not collect precise location and does not use geofences around healthcare facilities.

7. Your rights and controls

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, confirm, correct, delete, or withdraw consent concerning consumer health data, and to appeal a refusal.

For records stored only on your device, you can exercise these controls directly in the app:

Aleatrick has no account or health-record server and cannot retrieve, inspect, correct, export, or remotely delete records that remain only on your device. To make a request about support correspondence or other information actually held by Aleatrick, email [email protected] with the subject "Consumer Health Data Request." Do not include health details or a backup passphrase. We may request only the information reasonably necessary to authenticate and respond to the request.

If a request is denied, you may appeal by replying with the subject "Consumer Health Data Appeal." We will provide a written decision and any further complaint route required by applicable law.

8. Withdrawing consent

You can stop entering information, delete individual records, use Delete All Data, or uninstall the app. Withdrawing or ending use does not affect processing already completed at your direction. A general acceptance of the Terms of Use is not used as authorization to sell health data or as consent for a new health-data purpose.

9. Changes

We will not collect, use, or share additional categories of consumer health data for a new purpose without first updating this notice and obtaining consent where required. Material changes will be presented in the app or through another legally sufficient notice.
