Whisper Terms of Use

Terms for Whisper, covering Screen Time access, Angel Guard, Whisper Plus subscriptions and lifetime purchase, and limitations.

Last updated: August 5, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Whisper, an Aleatrick app. By installing Whisper or purchasing Whisper Plus, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

What Whisper is

Whisper reads your own Screen Time and turns it into two voices: a Devil that finds reasons to keep scrolling, and an Angel that quietly checks in. It shows which one you followed today.

Whisper is a reflection tool. It is not a medical device, not a treatment for any condition, and not a substitute for professional advice. Neither voice is a verdict on you, and neither is presented as correct.

Screen Time access

Whisper requires your permission to read Screen Time, granted through Apple’s own dialog. You can withdraw it at any time in iOS Settings; Whisper then stops receiving usage information and its measurements stop.

Whisper reads only your own device’s Screen Time. It cannot monitor another person, and it is not intended for supervising anyone else.

What Whisper does not do

Whisper does not force-quit apps, and it cannot close an app for you. Except for Angel Guard below, it does not block anything. Buttons that would require such control do not exist in the app, because iOS does not permit them and because Whisper is not designed to take decisions away from you.

Angel Guard

Angel Guard is the only feature that can shield an app, and it is strictly optional and off by default. You choose whether to enable it, which apps it covers, and what triggers it.

An emergency release is always available. Whisper will not make a shield impossible to escape, and does not shame you for using the release.

Shields depend on iOS’s Managed Settings and may not apply instantly, may be affected by system state, and should not be relied upon for anything safety-critical.

Measurement limits

Whisper’s figures come from Apple’s Screen Time events, which arrive at usage thresholds rather than continuously. Times, pickups, and balance values are approximations. They may be delayed, incomplete, or absent when iOS defers or withholds events, when permission is revoked, or when the device is restarted.

Whisper shows an honest empty state rather than inventing values when no data is available.

Notifications

Whispers arrive as local notifications. They may not appear, or may be delayed, depending on your notification settings, Focus modes, Do Not Disturb, battery state, and iOS scheduling. Do not rely on them for anything time-critical.

Whisper Plus

Whisper’s core experience is free. Whisper Plus removes limits on how many apps you watch, how many Scroll Passes you start each day, how far back your history goes, and which protocols and Scenes you can use.

Whisper Plus is offered as:

  • Monthly — an auto-renewing subscription billed each month
  • Annual — an auto-renewing subscription billed each year
  • Lifetime — a one-time purchase that does not renew

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings; cancelling stops future renewals and does not refund the current period.

Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before purchase. Payment is handled by Apple, and refunds are subject to Apple’s policies rather than Aleatrick’s.

A lifetime purchase remains active regardless of any subscription state, and can be restored on your other devices using the same Apple Account.

Availability and changes

Whisper may change, and features may be added, altered, or removed as iOS and Apple’s Screen Time frameworks change. Aleatrick does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Disclaimer

Whisper is provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Aleatrick is not liable for outcomes arising from your use of the app, including missed notifications, inaccurate measurements, shields that did or did not apply, or decisions you make about your own device use.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may change as Whisper’s features or legal requirements change. The Last updated date will change when meaningful revisions are published.
